- To include accurate details of responsible persons and points of contact within Fire Risk Assessment reports, as required under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and other relevant fire safety legislation
- To maintain legal and professional records for compliance and audit purposes

We process this information under the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interest — to issue certificates, maintain training records, and prepare fire safety documentation
- Legal obligation — certain information (such as names and contact details of responsible persons) must be included in Fire Risk Assessment reports to meet statutory fire safety requirements

All data is stored securely in password-protected systems and is accessible only to authorised personnel.

How long we keep your data
- Training records and delegate data are retained for six years after the course date for verification purposes.
- Fire Risk Assessment records and associated contact details are retained for as long as they are valid or as required by the relevant client’s fire safety management system.
After these periods, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
